How important is it to make an offer in an advertisement?

This client’s Google Display Ads example illustrates the effectiveness of an offer. The blue line is the number of views per day the client’s ads were receiving and the red line shows clicks per day. You can clearly see when the ad was changed from a brand awareness ad to an ad with a clear offer the number of clicks grew like a hockey stick. There is nothing wrong with a brand awareness marketing strategy, but if you want immediate results, your ads need compelling offers.
