The cache is saved data from websites that is temporarily stored on your computer. Every page, word, image, or video has to “download” for you to see it. Those files temporarily go to your cache. Caching makes sites you visit load faster on repeat visits, but over time, it can make loading pages slower. When that happens, you may need to clear your cache.
