What is inbound marketing?

Inbound marketing is the strategy of creating content that people will find through search results or other media platforms. This contrasts to outbound marketing (where you put ads in front of people that aren’t looking for the ad). Outbound ads are an interruption—such as a radio ad. Inbound marketing’s concept is based on giving information away to create value for potential customers. If your content does bring them value, the idea is those potential customers will then pay for your products and services. In a nutshell, inbound marketing is a strategy of creating a lot of content that you give away to attract new customers.
