What is programmatic advertising?

Programmatic advertising is using algorithms to buy and sell digital advertising. Programmatic lets you set your target audience for ads and then serves ads to that audience automatically. Most digital advertising goes through an auction process. That is why, for example, CPC (cost per clicks) can vary for the same keywords. Programmatic advertising uses DSP (demand-side platforms) to facilitate the auctions that take place for ad buying.
