What is the difference between Google Display and Google Search?

Google Display Ads show on a network of over 2 million websites. You can target people on certain websites or target people who are “in the market” for your products and services.

Google Search Ads primarily show at the top and bottom of the Google search results page. You bid on search terms that are related to your products. You buy and manage Google Search Ads and Display Ads through the Google Ads website.
