What is the Google Display Network?

Google describes its Display Network as “A group of more than 2 million websites, videos, and apps where your ads can appear. With the Display Network, you can use targeting to show your ads in particular contexts (like “outdoor lifestyles” or “cnn.com”), to particular audiences (like “young moms” or “people shopping for a new sedan”), in particular locations, and more.”

As a business, you use Google Ads and select to advertise on the Google Display Network. You will need ads designed in multiple sizes to get the most value from Google’s Display Network. It’s important to remember you aren’t deciding on the websites that will show your ads but deciding on the audience to target. Audience targeting includes age, gender, income levels, and interests.
