Why do people use search engines?

Google’s original mission statement was “to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.” Google allows us to have the world’s information at our fingertips. It answers questions that would otherwise take time to understand. As Google (and people) have adapted, Google has made sure to meet our needs by including videos, information panels, and suggested searches. The more we use search engines like Google, the more we’ll rely on them. Why do people use search engines? Because, now, we need them. Additionally, any time you use Siri or Google Assistant, you’re using a search engine.
