From an economic standpoint, if your costs rise, you’ll need to pass that along to your customers. With advances in technology, some prices drop over time for things like computers. As manufacturing has become more efficient, the price has been able to be lowered. You’ll only lose customers from price increases if the value of your product is less than the cost, or your competition offers more value.
